That is correct. I prefer 20%. Have run it on all my cars since the 80's. It looks darker with dark interior, but I have the limestone interior so looks a little less dark on my Taycan. That is what you see on the rear passenger doors and window of SUV's (might be 22%). So 35% makes it look like it does not match where 20% makes it look the same on the side.Silver. I still don’t have my car, waiting on a module.
Silver I think will match my wheels.
Thanks, yes, 35% sides and rear is legal for sedans.
Here is 35% (it's the legal limit in Georgia).
Here is mine and the sun is just going down behind the trees. You can see the difference between the 20% and 35%. If you zoom in you can see my steering wheel, but do not see completely through the car. This just sealed the deal. I'm going with the legal limit for my state too, 35%. I don't want to deal with getting a ticket.
Thanks for sharing the photo - car looks fantastic - green/tint/wheels all work together.
Beautiful looking car. One of the sharpest I've seen.I had the windows tinted today. I did the four side windows and the rear window done in nano ceramic 35% (within legal limit not too dark). I had the front windshield done in nano ceramic 75% (almost clear). It is amazing how much heat the nano ceramic tint keeps out of the car, especially the windshield when the sun shines through. There is no comparison to regular tint in the amount of heat rejection.
Been tinting my cars since the 80's. Good installers will not leave air bubbles. Just recently had my son's BMW rear window tint replaced as it got old and was fading and bubbling. They removed it, re-tinted and the defroster works fine.If I tint my rear windshield, will a good installer be able to avoid air pockets around the defroster lines? Is there a high risk of damaging the rear defroster During installation or removal?
LOL You actually gave me the same answer on FB. But how old was the tint before it started fading and bubbling? Is this a common occurrence?Been tinting my cars since the 80's. I had a feeling you might be the same person. Different user names and never sure lolLOL You actually gave me the same answer on FB. But how old was the tint before it started fading and bubbling? Is this a common occurrence?
35% is darker than 70%.I'd prefer 70% front, 70% roof and 20% sides and rear. But due to Illinois tint laws, I'm staying 35% sides and rear.
