Just bought a 2025 Taycan 4S CT with 300 miles. Need some help with establishing Apple CarPlay wirelessly. I’ve done this before on my 22 Taycan GTS and three previous Panameras but, can’t get it to work.
Have done a Facetime in the car with the tech from the dealership and spent over a half hour with Porsche Connect personnel while sitting in the car and still no connection. It does work with the C to C cord plugged in. Also, my wife’s Samsungs 25+ doesn’t connect wirelessly either.
Getting frustrated and live over a hundred miles from a dealership.
I’ve done all the steps and deleted phones, Bluetooth and tried to reconnect as per their advice. Page just spins without ever connecting.
Does anyone have any exp or advice?
Thanks from frustrated Phil in Minnesota.

The CarPlay is flakey in my 2025. More recently, it's been connecting every time I get in the car, but there was a period of several months where wireless carplay did not work for me at all.

I believe 2025 PCM hardware was basically carried over from prior years, and then in 2026 it was updated.

My Porsche Connect is completely broken in the car (cannot log in), and the app on my phone has data from ~5-months ago. Call to Porsche USA have been unable to resolve this.
Reason I bring it up is that CarPlay wasn't working when Porsche Connect *was* working, so it's like I can only have one or the other, which is unfortunate.

I have struggled with getting a good wireless connection to CarPlay on my 2025 Taycan 4S as well. It seems to break after some iOS updates or any service updates on the car. The method I found that works best is to go CarPlay settings on the phone and delete the car. Turn off the car, wait 5 minutes and then turn it back on and re-connect CarPlay. This establishes a fresh connection.

If the bluetooth connection is not showing up when you try to re add Car Play you may also need to remove and re-add the phone. It seems to take some time for the car and phone to sync with this approach so may need to turn it off, walk away and then let it re-connect after 10 min.

Clearly, they need to do some more work on this software to make it work more reliably, but these steps may help get you connected.

Once connected to CarPlay you can also sync your battery charge state with Maps using the MyPorche app as well. Go to Vehicle details on the main screen, choose the Functions menu at the top and choose Apple Maps EV routing and follow the instructions. Took me a while to find this but it's been very useful for trip planning

I’ll give that a try and thanks. Although I think I’ve done it all already except the leaving the car off a while.

My Porsche Connect services were just reestablished a couple of days ago and didn’t make any difference. At least now I can use the app. I’m fearing the next step is going to have me bring the car to the dealership, which for me is a full day event.

Try connecting a couple of times w/ a USB cable..that seems to help (in my experience)..There have been times when I needed that cable for days on end and then, mysteriously, wireless CarPlay came back ....

Try deleting in the iPhone Settings, Bluetooth, Taycan, and then deleing in iPhone, Settings, General, CarPlay, Taycan - and reconnect again. Took me a few goes.

In the end, I'm using the native PCM and phone on a MagSafe charger separately.

My 2024 CT is consistently inconsistent; on some occasions it connects immediately, and others requires me to click on the grayed-out CarPlay icon to select my device. PCM is running 3882.

One of the tricky things I dealt with was the wifi connection from the car, which is used for CarPlay. I only connect to the 5 GHz wifi network and do not have the 2.4 GHz on my phone at all. In fact, I think I turned it off in the car (I don't 100% remember). But yeah, try that. Good luck.
