Turbo GT Arriving in a Few Weeks - Steering Wheel Swap Quick?

My Turbo GT in Club Blau PTS is set to arrive by year end and I am going to have all of the black plastic parts on the front bumper / side skirts / rear painted gloss black as well as the steering wheel in Race-Tex swapped out for leather steering wheel. Is the steering wheel done by Porsche for this change or do they have to mail it away?

I’m assuming they can’t simply take the leather wheel off my 2024 Turbo S, correct?

I just don’t care for it vs. the leather personally. It’s more slippery to me in extreme heat and cold and I’m told Porsche will cover the cost to swap it out!

Porsche can easily swap steering wheels. They did it for me on a previous vehicle.

The issue is around the dual adjustment knobs the Turbo GT has!

My thought was to make the plastic aero bits with gloss black PPF instead of paint (if it sticks) because it will get trashed with rock chips when painted.

Are you going make the rear plastic piece in glass black too?

If your dealer agreed to do the swap, they would just order a new 2025 leather version and swap it in.
