Picked up our long-awaited 4S Cross Turismo at the very end of October 2023 after a 20 month wait (car left factory in March...). All fine apart from the car being unable to connect to server with red SOS light, so no Porsche Connect/My Porsche remote access - we did query this on handover, but were told it usually sorts itself out after a few days, and by that point we were desperate to take delivery.
Two trips to the dealer later, we collected car on Friday and were told they've replaced the 'Porsche Connect module'. Light turned green and remote access working. However, there are now a host of issues with the PCM which we didn't notice til we returned home:
All very odd. Not sure whether they did the WPN8 update. You'd hope they'd do it at the same time as replacing the module, but the recall notice is still active on My Porsche. Either way, seems unlikely the update would have this effect.
Having waited so long for the car it's frustrating that we are going back to the dealer for the third time in the space of just over a month. Went into the purchase with eyes wide open after reading posts on this forum for the past couple years, but it's still painful. Fingers crossed it's all sorted ASAP and that's it til the 2-year service...(!)
Anyone else had any of these problems after a dealer visit for PCM-related issues?

- No drive modes - we have Sport Chrono and nothing happens when turning the knob on the steering wheel. In the PCM the option is greyed out and it says 'functionality not available'
- No comfort /keyless entry
- No Apple Car Play - the option simply doesn't exist in the menu, but phone does still connect wirelessly
- Matrix lights not functional
- No maps or navigation - says we have to purchase through the store
- No traffic sign recognition
- Electric sport sound not working
- And perhaps the weirdest one - Sports exhaust system is an option in the 'Drive' menu (although greyed out/not clickable)
All very odd. Not sure whether they did the WPN8 update. You'd hope they'd do it at the same time as replacing the module, but the recall notice is still active on My Porsche. Either way, seems unlikely the update would have this effect.
