I’m very jealous MrB.. my build date has slipped again.
Hopefully will join the mamba club next month.
Interior looks great too. I almost went Bordeaux/watermelon. Then chalk. Then I remembered the kids might need a lift now and again. So full black..

I did go for the accents in exterior colour though.

I keep meaning to start a thread about fixed roofs too. I’ve gone fixed and very very rarely seen a mamba with a fixed.
Wondering if this is causing delay ?‍♂
Back to the topic… Brilliant car, brilliant choice MrB !!
Thanks chap. Your spec sounds delightful as well. I did try and change a few things on mine but they’d forgotten to tell me that my build specification had already locked. Which was a nice surprise in itself.

I’ve gone for different wheels and no roof bars, but otherwise identical - fabulous car! Can’t wait for mine - need to be patient for 6+ months. ?
It’s worth every second of the wait, I promise. Having owned neither a Porsche, nor an EV, before I am astounded by how deeply impressive the thing is.

PS, I used to be an ATCO myself, albeit briefly!

Hi Frank, thank you very much and that’s a lovely dilemma for you to have. I must say that now I have it, the chalk beige is a lovely interior and really lightens the whole cabin up beautifully. There’s quite a cool colour temperature to it which I like very much.

The wheels are Vesuvius grey, yes. Pleasingly they’re a satin finish rather than gloss which I think makes them look rather lovely in the flesh.
Sorry for all the questions, are your "inserts" vesuvius grey too?

The purple looks really dark in the configurator but not so much with in the video so rather difficult to judge.

The chalk beige was my original choice first time through the configurator and the main attraction of truffle and Blackberry for me is the non-black dash and steering wheel.

I went to sample a club leather interior last week and whilst lovely it didn't leap out as a must have improvement and I prefer both Blackberry and chalk beige so I have dropped truffle as a possibility.

I will end up making a snap decision when I have to fix the spec!

Hi there, ask away, happy to answer any questions. I went for the black off-road design kit so all the inserts are black gloss. Inside I don’t mind the black dash as there’s plenty of beige to offset it and it’s a very light and airy interior. If I were a little closer to you I’d pop by and show you. If you do end up with beige I don’t think you’d be in any way disappointed. It’s very much not “hearing aid/elasticated waistband trousers“ beige!

On a more general level, despite a few software “quirks” already and the bafflingly hallucinogenic rear camera, the car is both emotionally and deeply intellectually satisfying. I think with your background and history you’ll be constantly delighted by it.
