Today, I had my silverstone experience...I'm certainly no racing driver, nor will I ever be...but it was great fun....

I've only really done A roads and Motorways in mine so far, but coincidently I am off to Porlock on Exmore on Thursday so will get a chance to do some of the real twisty stuff.

Am looking forward to it, will see what sort of range I get as most of my journeys are all pretty short so be interesting to see what I get going there and back.

I consistently get a range of 250 to 260 on my 4S in normal mode and 270 to 280 in range mode and that's with the standard battery.

Looks great, is that the standard beige or full leather? I keep switching between beige and the two tone black/crayon but do prefer the more harmonious look of beige with it covering the back of the seats. However as a Newcastle united fan the black/crayon keeps getting my attention!

Beautiful. I am still debating whether to copy your interior choice of go off piste and get purple...

I take it the wheels are painted grey rather than the standard polished bit - looks better to me.

On the UK configurator it is called "Blackberry"

I’m very jealous MrB.. my build date has slipped again.
Hopefully will join the mamba club next month.
Interior looks great too. I almost went Bordeaux/watermelon. Then chalk. Then I remembered the kids might need a lift now and again. So full black..

I did go for the accents in exterior colour though.

I keep meaning to start a thread about fixed roofs too. I’ve gone fixed and very very rarely seen a mamba with a fixed.
Wondering if this is causing delay ?‍

It’s the full leather in chalk beige. I couldn’t quite square the contrast issues of the crayon. It’s a very subdued beige and rather elegant in the flesh.

I’ve gone for different wheels and no roof bars, but otherwise identical - fabulous car! Can’t wait for mine - need to be patient for 6+ months. ?

Hi Frank, thank you very much and that’s a lovely dilemma for you to have. I must say that now I have it, the chalk beige is a lovely interior and really lightens the whole cabin up beautifully. There’s quite a cool colour temperature to it which I like very much.

The wheels are Vesuvius grey, yes. Pleasingly they’re a satin finish rather than gloss which I think makes them look rather lovely in the flesh.
