While technically true, it can still be stereotyping. If you identify as a male, I could say "a male response" to any comment you make, or if you identify as female, I could say "a female response". That absolutely is implicit stereotyping. You account shows you are from UK, so anyone could reply "a Brit answer" to anything you say, which narrowly interpreted means "a response by one Brit", but suggesting it's a response typical of all Brits.

Differences in countries aside, emergency makeup is universal and some would argue much more important than tire pressure, a pen, or a chop stick. Perhaps it's for emergency eye liner or emergency lip liner ?

Also excellent for holding straws. I always carry a few long straws for tall take-out drinks that come with straws shorter than the cup. But it works for pens as well.
