Apologies if this has been covered, but I’ve been unable to find any examples. I finally received an allocation for a 4S CT and I’m eager to finalize the spec. We have chosen dolomite silver for the exterior and black/Bordeaux red leather. I like the look of wood trim but am unsure of the combination of the Paldao wood trim with the Bordeaux red. Has anyone chosen or seen this combination and if so, could you please share photos? Thanks in advance.

This would be a very personal decision and likely not a colour combination for most tastes. Palado on its own is a rare decision.

Be sure to see black Bordeaux on any Porsche before ticking the box - it is too red for my taste.

There are currently 33 Taycans with Black/Bordeaux on the GB used approved listing- each with a photo gallery-

I examined a few and couldn't spot any Paldao trim, if you do a more thorough scan of all of them you'll at least see the leather under differing lighting conditions. I have Black/Bordeaux and love it, but having looked at it with just about every combination of trim materials and colours, I came to the conclusion that they all make it look a bit too busy for my own taste (admittedly not helped by my choice of Frozen Blue body colour).

I have black/bordeaux and it has really grown on me. One thing to keep in mind is that in real-life the red is quite subdued and not as bright as in the configurator or most photos (as they tend to be too saturated). Personally, I think plain black is best with bordeaux, maybe with dark-silver accents: (in this photo i desaturated a bit to make it look more how it looks in real life)

I found a paloa wood with atacama beige online which looks great:

but I saw it recently for real at the dealer and it looked a bit less good; perhaps too busy. YMMV

Photos make the Bordeaux look worse IMHO as it tends to be over saturated.

I looked at the Paldao wood interior when configuring my Turbo.

My current S500 has cherry wood details on the doors and fascia which suit an S class perfectly. I personally don’t think wood suits the Taycan at all. It’s more sports car than club lounge.

Agreed, it’s kind of nauseating
