Just spoken to my UK dealer - Porsche are supposed to provide the dealers with updates this Friday - mine is one of the many still stuck at Emden waiting for the heater. There was even a mention that Porsche "may" offer something to customers in a similar position - I joked whether that would be some Porsche embossed blankets

I have been resisting doing that for the past month. It's been really, really hard. So I just pass it around at home to annoy my family. It's good thing we "lost" the T-Pain microphone toy I got for Christmas 5+ years ago!

That is what I am assuming as well since TYD shows I have a 3 week delay from port arrival ETA (4/4) to delivery at PEC ATL (4/25).

I suspect they will fit the heater at port during this time since Jacksonville is only 4 hours away from Atlanta there is no reason it would take 3 weeks to transport it!

Doubt you are being delayed for a heater. PEC only accepts cars within a week of appointment, and they are usually fully booked. cars will stay at port until very close to delivery time.

I've taken delivery @ PEC previously. Once it is ready for PEC I will be given a 2 week "window" to schedule my delivery and plan my trip there.

My delivery date changed today from 2 Oct 23 to 17 Aug 23. Car held up at the port since 21 Feb 23.

The Porsche factory don't really care as every car they make is already sold to the dealers. If you don't have it someone else will.

You should really stop repeating this nonsense. If you have proof, please share it with this _public_ forum; otherwise I would kindly suggest you refrain from making baseless statements.

A franchised dealer only pays for the car upon taking possession. Until then, the car belongs to Porsche or their official affiliate/representative in that region or country. The car is only released to the dealer after the final inspection/adjustment at the destination port of entry, and the dealer won't accept (and won't pay) for a vehicle which deviates from the spec.
