While in P, click on "display options" (the on/off digital button at the bottom of your lower display), on the PCM pop-up notification tick the box to turn off passenger display. Put in D, then P again , again "display options" and untick the box. Drive away and It will stay on. Procedure needs to be repeated every time you get out of D.
Works for me.
Sadly this hack no longer works. ?

Has anyone found a way to get the passenger display to work in 2023? All i want is more than just the station name visible in the screen while its in "standby mode"

Ah hah, seeing the seat pressure sensor, now I realize why my laptop bag sometimes triggers the sensor, but not always. I’ll keep it in that position from now on so that I can always have the Google Earth satellite view as an interior decorative element. (Which so far has been my only use of the passenger display!)

I use the center display for Flitsmeister (a speed camera location app) running on Android Auto, the passenger display for media and the left for nav, etc.
You can't have enough screens!
Especially at night.

I’ve not been able to apply pressure or push the sensor and have it work to activate the screen. It only works with someone in the seat and as soon as they get out of the seat the screen deactivates.
