Absolutely - will be marked and tracked - I’ll also be playing more with cell temps ;)

Awesome stuff Ron - I think your car is King at the minute :) Only competitors are the Porsche marketing car and that not completely verified car from Slovenia. Will update shortly - and good balance having 20+% DC charging.
Thanks Ciaranob, great thread for sure.
To be clear , I have 64% fast charging 19.4MWh/30.5MWh. 😙

What is source for your data about fast charging? Is that available on carscanner app somewhere?

All EA sessions are recorded in your MyPorsche Charging account and of course you can self record this and other data from each session (including non-EA charging) if desired.

Yes, as @ciaranob says. EA sessions are in My Porsche, but it doesn’t have L2 or non-EA. The efficiency reported by the car is very off in my findings. I hand log every charging session in a Google spreadsheet since picking up my car. That is the snippet of the summary tab of the sheet that I posted. I know I am a bit crazy about data.

Hi Folks,

My RWD Model with 79.2 kWh Battery.
I've tried the "Manual Battery Calibration" steps.
Run the battery lower then 10% (I left 3%) put the car over night without charging, and charge to 100% (with trickling charge around 5Kw)

1) Delivery SoH: unknown
2) Current Soh: 89.28%
3) Current Mileage: 24,336 km
4) kWh DC fast: forget
5) Build date: Date of Production November 22, 2022

I think the battery health is declining too fast, less a year(Delivery Date 2022/03/01).
Is it normal?

Well actually for a Hot Climate zone (as defined here) car you are pretty much in line with the rest of us - my Soh (Houston TX) with only 9200 miles (14.8K Km) is relatively stable at 88.7 (and that is after a recent cell rebalancing!).

I will add you to the chart if that's OK - first from Taiwan :) - need to look at your no.s more when I get a moment.

Cheers, C.

PS: Cell map looks good.

Thanks bro! 😊💡
Yes, I think Cell map looks good with 4.06~4.07A and I thought the SoH will shows 90%+ after calibration. haha

@ciaranob thanks for collecting all this data!
I think I am going to follow your recommendation and buy the vLinker to start monitoring my SoH (I will share). It will be interesting to see as I have 15k+ km and I have been charging around 50% for day to day driving.
Question: can you point me to a video on where to find the OBD port on the Taycan and how safely we can connect the Dongle to it? I am very good on screwing up things so I am being precautious here 😂 (and sorry if this has been answered somewhere)

The dongle port is located in the footwell under left hand side of dash console - it is ‘exposed’ so easily located but you’ll have to get your head down on the floor to see it or just use a mirror or your phone to take pic if you really need to :)
Indeed shared a pic before somewhere on here but I’m not by car at the minute to take another.

When you do get to plug one in and connect via CarScanner do not be alarmed at the ‘high voltage electrical’ warning that will immediately pop up in your dash - 100% normal and absolutely no issue to car at all - simply a warning to the user that you have a dongle plugged in (and more than a bit OTT in respect a warning!) - and BTW, your tech at your dealership sees the exact same warning :). You can dismiss this using the ‘return’ button on your steering wheel.

There is no issue plugging or leaving in the OBDII device - you’re not harming anything - nor will there be any worries re just reading the output in CarScanner - issues only arise when a user fiddles with certain settings in the car via OBDII input but this type of activity is usually under advanced settings and clearly labeled as such.
Cheers, C.
