It appears that my 2021 Taycan (which I DO enjoy a lot!), is about to add its 3rd OPEN recall.

Got an email from NHTSA today (altho it does not show on Porsche's site yet).

Apparently, Porsche sending out the letters Nov 29. 80% max charging recommended.

Oh well.....maybe a new battery?

2023 CT here. When I check Porsche recall website, I see zero recalls for me. I guess not my time yet.

Apparently owner notifications to be mailed 11/29/2024..so you have something to look forward (?&^&^%#!) to....

Not many cars impacted so wait until you are contacted.

per Porsche's letter to NHTSA, almost 30,000 (in US) affected..that's a lot!
Yep it is - apologies I misread another source. Still not clear how many will actually require a repair.

The Taycan saga continues.

I have a 2022 CT and I am concern with all the potential recalls from this point forward during the discovery as times moves forward. I am thinking if I plan to keep it that I need to look into extended warranty if its not to late? My three year free charging package with EA is up 02/2023. I have a home charge that came with the car. But now I concern that I need to buy the correct adapter to expand my charging options to Tesla charging stations.

I also have a 2022 CT. Flawless so far, but the repairs bills could eventually add up once the warranty expires. However, I prefer to self-insure against relatively small financial risks like this.

For charging at Tesla V3 stations that do not have the integrated Magic Dock adapters, I bought the A2Z adapter back in the spring in a bout of optimism for both our CT and i4.
So far it lies in waiting in our basement. No reason to buy one now though.

Dropped off my Taycan early this morning for the brake recall.
The dealership has repeatedly warned me that this could take awhile since they have only a single Taycan tech (and he's just as busy as would be expected).
Fortunately I pulled in just before another Taycan owner pulled in for the same reason, and the queue is by when you arrive.

While gawking about a bit, I came across this puzzler:
https://www.porschehartford.com/exo...e-Taycan-7cc1dee8ac1853bcb17b6e673ca01242.htm
... a used Taycan with only 36 miles!

I was then offered a fine German loaner, but instead I brought my own.
Both the handling and power were quite good.
Range, could have made it home w/o stopping, but was tempted by a convenient refueling station along the way.
