I have a nov 13 build date for a TS. Upgraded to TS to get a better date!

My TS build date is the 11th of Nov. Dealer stating Jan 14th 2021 for collection. Im U.K. based.

Excited to get to play with this piece of kit.
Nervous to take care of my baby.

The long road, not nearly as long as other folks who caught the bug at the Mission E unveiling I know:

• Sept 2019 Saw world premiere.
• Oct 2019 Put deposit at dealership #1
  • Position 293 for all Taycans and refined to over 100 for 4Ss by Feb 2020.
• Feb 2020 Found dealership #2 with available allocations, put deposit for June Allocation.
• April 2020 Decided to drop PECLA delivery due to concern over covid changes.
• July 2020 Configuration locked, requested refund from dealership #1.
• Aug 2020 Build complete.
• Sept 2020 Loaded on ship to the states.
• Sept 2020 Was able to reenstate PECLA delivery after reading glowing reviews by folks like @Reg.
• Oct 2020 Arrived in Northern California
• ...
• Nov 11 is scheduled PECLA (Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles) pick-up date.
• Looking at Clear bra, ceramic coat and window tinting.
• Put on some miles.

I have a similar build to collection timeline to you (Oct/nov). Some people seem to only have 2 weeks between the two

Hello World!
I put a deposit down on for a Turbo from South London on sept -22 that was already on order and just 2 days from lock-in (thus avoiding any opportunity for procrastination on spec!). Got a note Monday to say it was leaving the factory this week and told to earmark w/c Nov-9 for pickup. Will Lyk actual timeline in case that helps set expectations.

Full PPF from Xpel
painting of the wheels in full glossy black
Import and homologation.
so more or less 3 weeks to go

Super happy with the cherry Red,

My car was meant to exit the factory on the 30th of October. Dealer (Reading, UK) is stating the week of the 23rd of November for delivery.

Seems a bit slow compared to some of the reports here, but maybe I'm subconsciously filtering out the longer ones and giving myself and unreasonable expectation..

Let’s hope as my completion date same as yours. Dealer said they can deliver in Tier 3 but not full lock down. I’m told Lock down starts Wednesday

My 4S was due to leave the factory on the 27th of October, with a planned 23 November collection from Reading.

Calling in this morning, I was told that the only info they had was that it’s left the factory, and they’ll only know more next week where Porsche will make an ‘official announcement’. Currently, my only concern is getting it into the country before end of year to avoid the Brexit tax issue!

Guessing (hoping) a national lockdown wouldn’t affect the shipping/customs etc?

October 31st received email to accept my Porsche. Added to My Porsche ID and also shows in Porsche Connect app. Limited functionality as you need to login within the car and I don't get the car till Nov 11th. But I am so happy with my halloween present to have the car show in my id.

FYI the initial email was asking to text my work number not cell number, quick call to Porsche North America and they sent me a new email. All registered in just a few minutes.

Also had my wife create a Porsche ID tonight and I added her as an additional driver for the car already and it shows on her account as well.

Some Porsche software seems well thought out and functional.

Told today that Porsche GB, has instructed delivery firms to carry on getting the cars to the dealerships. Apparently they are very busy, mine hasn’t pitched up yet, looks like next week now, with click and collect. Paperwork will be completed online then turn up get the keys and drive away. So fingers crossed.
