Gentian Blue w/ Ceramic - Do birds really like it?

I'm having a tough time this spring / summer with birds pooping on the car. I park outside in my driveway, but no branches overhead (trees nearby though). And mostly every place I go does not require parking under trees.

However, something about this color attracts the birds. The other day I came out to drive and a robin was sitting on the hood right at the Porsche crest doing his business. He stayed to finish even after I got in and the car was started. After a wash, the car cannot make it in my driveway for 24 hours without picking up another bird dropping.

I've never had this problem with another car/color. My wife's SUV is a darker blue, and my previous car was also a darker blue. I love the Gentian Blue, but is it attractive to birds? I don't see that many Gentian Blue Taycans on the road. Most tend to be white or black around this area.

I don’t have experience with Gentian Blue but have not had this issue with my former dark blue Model Y for 5 years.

Don't feel like you are the only one the birds are targeting. Neptune rather than Gentian, but still a blue.

Slight side issue......

Every year I get lots of small brown dots on my car in the summer months and wondered what it is.

When you wash it, it appears yellowish with lots of tiny specs.
I wondered if it was dropping from those high flying small birds (swifts, swallow etc).

But I looked it up and it's apparently Bee droppings with pollen in.

But of a pain, but nice to know there are plenty of bees about.

I have a family of sparrows that love to sit on the side mirrors and admire themselves in their reflection in the windows....messy.

Blue is the worst car to own if you want a clean looking car. But Neptune and Gentian are way too beautiful.

Had a Navarra blue Audi before my gentian ST, it was way worse. Had to detail my car every other day. With the Gentian Taycan it’s a bit better and detail it every week or sometimes every other week.
