Any tip on height, leg rest (?), lumbar support?

I have 14-ways. Most comfortable seats that adjust 14 ways.

That’s the point of 14 way- to adjust how you like it.

What isn’t comfortable exactly? All of us are shaped differently which is the reason why they aren’t just fixed seats.

In what way aren't you comfortable?

You should adjust both your seat and steering wheel position. One affects the other.

Sometimes, there is no solution. Anatomy plays a very important part. I could not get comfortable in the 18 way seats, but the 14 were good. There have been plenty of seats that simply hurt after an hour or two. At this point, you can either keep trying for the right settings or move on. I once had to sell a MB 300E because the seats were so uncomfortable.

I had to abandon the Taycan entirely because both the 14 and 18 way seats gave me back pain - too much lumbar support. Everyone is shaped differently though.

Before I picked up my own car I had a loaner with the 18 way seats for over a month. It took me a month to get comfortable.
Having finally found a seat setting I liked, I was anxious on the way to collect my own (14 way) car, whether I could find the same position.
Again, it took a month but I have found them extremely comfortable since.

Just keep tweaking.

Take it back to the dealer. The salesperson that sold you the car would be happy to assist you with getting comfortable in the driver's seat.

Agree mostly with the video. Order of adjustments is important. This is the order I use successfully:

1. Seat height (I usually go as low as possible, whilst still being able to see out sufficiently)
2. Seat fore/aft; based on leg length to depressed brake/ accelerator
3.Seat angle (to best suit your preferred back position - I like my shoulders to touch seat back)
4. Seat base angle (for full and even thigh support)
5. Steering wheel fore/aft, so as arms slightly bent/ comfortable
6. Steering wheel height (to see instruments)
7. Seat Lumber - find the right height first, then adjust in/out as preferred
8. Seat bolsters to suit your size/ driving style

I have the 18 way seats. It took me nearly a year to find the most comfortable position. I struggled up until then, to the point I was not enjoying long journeys as my back ached too much. The key for me was to have little lumbar support. I tweaked it up and down in very small amounts over a long journey until the pain went. I can now go 4hrs with no pain. However, I wouldn’t call them the most comfortable seats. I have the 18 way in my Boxster and they are totally different. Very comfortable. I don’t know if there has been any subtle change to the J1.1 to J1.2 Taycan seats. Mine is a J1.1. But as said already, everyone’s back anatomy is different. Those that find these seats really comfortable will not understand how some of us find them uncomfortable. There is only so much tweaking that can be done to the seating position. Ultimately some seats just aren’t that comfortable for some. I had a Volvo XC90 which had the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. Could do long cross continent journeys with no problems at all. I have had multiple BMW’s and not one has had comfortable seats for me. All I would say is, keep persevering with the seating position and lumber support. A flat base apparently is recommended and a seat rake of 20 degrees. Then position the lumber to suit. Good luck.
