I haven't don't the math yet, but I'm pretty certain I'm getting 25miles extra to the charge. Since I take a lot of road trips and go soft roading, I'm much happier with the 19" , but of that's not you, them don't bother. I understand 21" wheels are like women stilettos and I won't give those up.
25 miles is like 10%-12% gain. I actually went the other way and switched to Mission E's. I lost 5% efficiency over 21 inch Exclusive Designs! But as you said...vanity.

Well damn. As an ardent fan of my CT, I guess no more Porsche for me. BMW seems to get it with the m5 wagon here finally. Maybe the next im3 will come in wagon form too.

Thank you Porsche, you solved my occasional itch to upgrade to latest Taycan (was thinking custom order CT4 with aftermarket power tune, as another Turbo was already too overpriced in my head). This really solidifies my plans to drive the Taycan for longer, then decide on something completely new (a Cayenne EV looks good, but I need to see some data that they break less and have less recalls than the Taycans did - if I get that ,I'll probably buy 2, his & hers, as I've done with other cars in the past).

I really wanted a CT or ST used but the added cost and lack of availability made me go with the sedan. Plus after sitting in a CT and sedan back to back I realized the difference between the two in terms of usable space was negligible and it was more about which style you want.
...
I guess I'm outside the "normal" envelope at 6'4", but the CT/ST felt like they had a big headroom advantage over the saloon/sedan to me when I tried them.

I can imagine not a massive difference in litreage/cubic feet of actual luggage space. (Though again, there maybe the odd time that makes all the difference - though I would think infrequently with Taycans).

I think the bigger difference is the size of the trunk opening. Larger item which might have fit just fine on the back of the sedan with back seats folded, simply cannot fit through the trunk opening, or the side doors. Had Porsche made the sedan a hatchback, the CT might not have been necessary for some.

Yeah, you literally stand out in a crowd…..

Standing 6'4" (76 inches or 193 cm) makes you taller than roughly 99% of all adult men and 99.999% of all adult women.

You should always call “shotgun.”

😁

I'm driving the vast majority of the time. But my kids are growing quickly.

But can sit reasonably ok in the rear of an ST. (Foot space is the bigger issue).

@MoniqueDenver - you just won my very occasionally awarded "Simile of the Day" award for comparing 21" wheels with stilettos. Keep up the good work 😀

Hahahaha. You should have seen me at the autocross 101 at the PCRMC trying to understand why all the men there (I was one of five women), kept talking about and how they all wanted the 21-in rims. And I kept asking questions, ..

"Are they better for autocross?" No
" What about off-roading?" No
" Do they get better range?" No
After about five or six no's I finally said why is everybody like them? A bunch of guys we're like,"Well they look pretty!!"
"Oh I get it. I have some shoes in my closet that hurt my feet, are expensive and, are difficult to walk in but boy they look hot! "

Just call me the the Mars to Venus translator.

Nice! What's your current road trip plans? The Western Colorado to Utah stretch is a great drive. I cannot get used to the 19 inch wheel style (neither would it fit my PSCBs)
This one is for you. Stopped at Kiva coffee house in Escalante only to find out it was closed

At 6' 6", both my son and I claim the front seats relegating my 5' 10" daughter to the rear. I've not had the pleasure of driving an ST or CT > but by spec the ST gives 1.77" and CT 2" more rear seat headroom than the sedan.

I guess with the Cayenne EV and Mayan EV coming to the US, which will likely further cannibalism Taycan CT/ST sales, it didn’t make sense to continue importing them.

Supporting the Taycan CT/ST would be a pretty large cost for Porsche NA when you consider spare parts stocks that would need to be maintained in the US, crash/emission testing, etc.

RIP, I guess I am holding onto my 2025 CT 4S for a while.
