Just drove my new-ish Taycan home to NorCal

Day 1 evening drive through SoCal was delightful.
Then the "Chassis Error" message came up on Day 2
Today, Day 3 I drove it to the dealer and of course the message was not present. Is with dealer. Hope they find a log of the Error? That is a thing?

1. When the seller was showing me the car (and it raised and we kept the door open) the car did not move up or down, BUT there were a few bangs/pops/thunks from what I thought was the rear end. We both looked at each other because they were loud enough.
2. Since then there have been a few "raises" that have been quick and uneven. Like the back end is "jerking" upward, not a smooth rise like in the front.

Diagnosis? :)

Mine has a slight delay, then pops up pretty quick and smooth. If you leave the door open, it will make some odd sounds.

Here is a video I just grabbed that might help with your diagnostic/comparison:

Thank you for that effort!

Yes it has operated that way BUT
1. A little more lag between door opening and the rise, on all three days.
2. This AM the rise was sort of jerky/violent. When I did it again. it was not.

OK, we'll see what Walnut Creek P says tomorrow.

Much appreciated.

Sorry I replied to S man. To you = Interesting you have heard noise if door remains open!

Yeah... others have reported the same sound. Apparently if you leave it for a while (a minute or two) it makes weirder sounds. There are a few other PAR owners on the forum who might chime in.

Sound in the video is normal. Bangs/pops/thunks not normal.

I have PAR and have suffered amber chassis warnings. When this happens the PAR switches off so there is no damping, the car drives but is very unstable and dangerous, had mine recovered a few times. The errors generally clear after locking and walking away for about a minute. The errors get logged so the dealer should be able to see them. In a couple of my cases the error was connected with rear axle steering, they re-programmed the RAS and it resolved the errors. I think dealers are also learning PAR as they go, it is new/complex tech.

They still have it. No clear answer yet.
Heat?
Came on during 5 hrs of driving in 110F and stayed on.
Then nothing next day in 60-80F Bay Area.
