Well this is interesting as I was just about to start a new thread myself for a similar issue. My Turbo (UK owner) has comfort access showing on the settings, BUT, only for steering wheel and seat. There is nothing in the settings for door access etc (as described in the Porsche manual). I’ve tried everything to get this to work.. but failed..

Is there anywhere we can see what standard features come with the spec of car purchased?
That comfort access relates to when you what the seat and steering wheel to retract when you turn the motor off. Essentially making it easier to enter and exit the car

Yeah got it.. but from what I’m reading in the manual and now on here, there should be options in settings to allow one of the following three options.
1. No easy access - you must use your fob to unlock and lock the car
2. Easy access where you need to touch the door handle to open the car and you can touch it again to close it. (This is the one I would like to have)
3. Full easy access, door handles open on approach to the car...

If these options are in settings, then I can’t find them.

Porsche east London didn’t even bother to call back. Porsche Leeds where I bought the car - excellent service but not resolved yet. It will
Need to be booked in to escalate up the chain.

Well... today I installed a Porsche Mobile Connect Charger.. Whilst working near to the car, with keys also near. The car started to open up by it's self, presenting handles to me and everything.. It even locked itself after a few mins. This happened multiple times.. Just to confirm, my car has comfort access (i think it's called) where it will move the seat and steering wheel for you on entry, but since I've had the car, it's never opened up automatically on approach.
I literally just went to the car to put something in the boot. (the only difference this time, it's now on a charge) and it wouldn't open up automatically.

So, either my car is possessed or.. I'm missing something...

Answers on a postcard please.

It’s in a setting for the car to unlock automatically. Maybe that setting got set for you by itself, but you can turn it off. But automatically locking the car when you leave, it’s not supposed to do that. I wish mine did.

Thanks, but mine doesn't have the setting in the car. It's an option in the UK to have the auto unlocking feature and as far as I know, mine doesn't have it.. Thats what makes it all the more surprising today when it started to do it.....

My Porsche dealer told me that Auto Unlocking (also called Comfort Access in some countries) will be available as a FoD in the near future.

So it is probably just a software bug/issue that causes the function to work sometimes. Or maybe a teaser to people, so they will buy it over FoD when available :)

Mine has been doing the same. I don't have comfort access. Yet, when on charge will auto unlock when i am close with key, then lock again. Also did it when not on charge - but had been charged and unplugged.

It’s definitely a weird one. Since the day above mine hasn’t done it.

I’ve had my taycan turbo since July and it doesn’t have comfort access as I was worried about keyless theft. However now within the last week the car is auto unlocking as I approach the car and the handles are presenting themselves.
Reading the manual hasn’t really helped........ does anyone have any ideas or experienced the same thing?

the touch sensor on the door handle however does not do anything?

My 4s does the same. There is a setting in the car to change. But the steering wheel and seat do not change unless you press the settinting on door once your in the car! Which defeats the purpose! Anyone know how to change ? Guys at east London say it should do but can’t tell me how . Thanks
