Got a notification on my PCM telling me to “login with QR code” for an “infotainment update”.
Does anyone know what needs to be done to initiate this?
Thanks.
Here are some pics of the front.
What I can’t seem to locate on my taycan, are the metal bars under the seat that the cover hooks are meant to attach to. If anyone has a real-life photo of theirs (not the manual), I would appreciate it.

Had the same problem...
Is there any other location to be able to display the current battery percentage, other than the rightmost configurable instrument cluster?
I want to display the media information and cover art in this section, but then don’t seem to have a way of seeing my battery charge anywhere else while...
No kidding.
And it seems like the city is getting worse and worse for drivers every week.
I’ve managed some nice day trips out of town. That’s where the car comes into it’s own.
Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you so much. I am really pleased with how it came out. I didn’t have a reference, so was quite nervous, but it exceeded my expectations in the end
Yes, I did add ceramic.
I think you’re 100% right.
No car is perfect, and I am happy to acknowledge the good in Tesla’s, as well as some of the shortcomings of the Taycan.
For it’s price bracket, I don’t think there is a better EV than a Model 3, yet. I know there are many on the horizon (the i4 in particular looks...
That setup looks fantastic!
Any chance you can share the proclip model number for both parts? Thanks

Would still be interested to see if you guys get a different solution though. Always felt like that was somewhat of a wait and hope...
Have been in exactly the same situation as you.
I now either drive down the wrong side of the road (if there isn’t a width restriction going the other way), or turn around and go back. Would rather redirect my route by 5 mins, than spend another couple of hundred quid getting the rims...
Can’t we all just get along? ?
Tesla deserve a lot of credit for pushing the whole EV car industry on, and for some of the innovative things they have brought….such as OTA updates and Sentry Mode.
Car-wise, until the Model 3 came along, their previous efforts were poorly made, poorly...
My first bit of the reply came through in the quote somehow. (I’m still learning how to use this forum thing, I guess). ?
