2022 Turbo build with PTS

Not sure how much you care about resale value, but Voodoo, Mexico and Riviera blue are all considered highly desirable colors in the Porsche world.

Mexico and Riviera look close enough that I would seriously consider one of these instead purely from the resale and history perspective.

Do a quick google search and you'll see plenty of PTS 911's in these colors.

Go check out some of the threads on Rennlist for PTS ideas. There is one thread in particular (I can't find right now) where they cover the history of many of the PTS colors which adds some fun context. Below is a link to the 992 PTS colors which will be a good guide.

PTS commands a premium on GT cars and most 911's, but I would be hesitant paying for PTS on a Taycan. I'm not sure you'll recover the premium on the used market, and your money might be better spent on some other options.

Having said that, I'm seriously considering custom ordering a PTS Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo in the future.

been looking at yachting blue as well but hard to find well taken snaps

In the 2022 changes thread, I mentioned not all colors are available for every model.

This is from 2016, but shows Yachting Blue as "Feasibility Check Necessary" for Panamera so not all all approved PTS colors are for every model.

@manitou202 to your point of those 3 shades of blue, I heard Shark Blue is replacing Mexico and I would think it has a high probability to be approved for Taycan

This is my short list
1) voodoo blue
2) arrow blue
3) acid green (per a 918 spec)
4) signal yellow
5) racing yellow
6) dolphin grey (Chalk is too beige for me)

Incredible list. Acid green is my favorite color for 911 or 918. I wonder how it will look on a Taycan?

It would be a site to see with Acid green deviated stitching to match. Too bad Porsche won't do the acid green calipers

I know acid green may look amazing. The Taycan has some similar lines and proportions as the 918 which is how it made my list as it looks great on it.

That said I’m Not sure if Porsche would do the acid green stitching or even the color on the Taycan.

Great colour - the contrast seat stitching would be nice...
You guys are so lucky with the packages - really helps reduce decision making and keep costs not too outrageous.
I wonder about the electric port door and black aluminium tread plates? The standard silver look a little old fashioned and I think the black looks better against your blue colour. Illumination as well if you can afford it really looks great - I has mine put in after delivery and it made a huge difference.

may i ask what type of illumination youre talking about? and what are the aftermarket options?

They can be ordered with your build (easiest way) of fitted by your dealer if you wish later.
I saw the kit when it arrived and the plates are very light (aluminium) but look beautiful. The dealer was cursing me by the end of the day, I think, as the kit came with no instructions and it took them all day to fit them!

Wow Mr Smith. That does look good in acid green and very unique. Can flying do the voodoo. Here is another 911 In voodoo as I think the camera is a little off in the 918. I agree that sub second clock is cool.
