With the shortage of cars right now many dealers are still charging premiums for existing available Taycans(some even when ordering). So your discount may be paying MSRP and saving the $3380 price increase for a 2022. It all depends on what area of the country you are in.

I agree with the other posters. You won't have much leverage right now.

actually - you might end up being asked to pay MSRP and you do NOT get the 7500.00 tax credit (assuming it is still in play). So it's a 10K increase for a 2021 versus a 2022.
