Never gave it much of a thought before...just accepted that the choices on ambient lighting were limited.

Then fiddled with "dynamic" yesterday, and it seemed to settle on a purple colour that my youngest (and I) quite liked.

Why. Oh why. Mr Porsche Software Engineer can I not select purple? Or any RGB colour for that matter, as the hardware seems capable of it.

It must have taken much more dicking about to invent "dynamic" (that is anything but) than it would to have done a colour/intensity wheel, as found on £2 RGB LED strips.

Muppets.

Possibly the same engineer who put the preferred charging times under Profile instead of Timer.

Possibly the same engineer who put the preferred charging times under Profile instead of Timer.

The same engineer who realised some folk were happy enough to have a Departure Timer which is what the Timer is intended for.

Had Talksport on DAB tonight. Lights went yellow, which matches the logo.

I'd be impressed if the lights changed to the typical face colour of a TalkSport listener. Imagine gammon pink in response to an irate listener calling in to respond to the performative, engagement-motivated goading by the host? What about the deep colour red you'd achieve the next time the England flag is changed on the national shirt.

Anyway. My MB C-Class has 64 ambient light colours to choose from. You can only actually distinguish about ten of them, and the novelty wore off after one week.

Thank goodness I didn't spec it.......sounds like a right headache.

Its bad enough when the heater or main battery fails, without having all the extra worry about what colour fairy lights to have on.

You guys need to get your priorities right and be far more worried about this than you clearly are.

Not being able to select a soothing purple, or calming burnt umber is very important to the modern driver, in touch with their feelings. Topaz is way too cold and Lime Yellow clashes with my trousers.

As for pov specing MrFF. Please tell me you don't do this with Captain Birdseye's finest!

Ambient lighting is standard on all 2025’s. If you have a 2025, would you please clarify if yours has a full color wheel or the same, eight colors as the pre—2025‘s? TU.
