Anyone else got Porsche Connect problems?

12v battery disconnect is the option to try - hard reset rather than a soft (engineering one).
This didn’t work for me - well disconnecting for 30 minutes didn’t.

I tried the option to pull the fuses that's been mentioned.. couldn't get the flipping pink fuse cover off! then the heavens opened and I gave up.

The technician at the OPC said late on Friday they've seen a few similar. The 'warranty team' will call on Monday but the car is off to M&A for the foreseeable.

Mines not connecting today though could be the weather - heavy cloud cover and poor Vodafone signal here at the best of times

Late last year, my Porsche connect didn't work for six straight weeks. I thought I was missing out, but when it came up for renewal in May, I thought I would see how long I could live without it! Im still alive !

My Internet radio is not working today (any stations).
Which is a pain as its what I usually listen to.

When you try and use it it's mostly silence, but sometimes it's intermittent off/on/off/on with a couple of seconds of each.

no data in the car for 10 days or so and the biggest misses so far have been dynamic sat nav routing/being able to see live traffic and also general rubbishness of the satnav in finding locations without an internet connection. Went to see the snooker over the weekend and searching for 'Brentwood Centre' got me nowhere close!

(all solved by using CarPlay and Waze but like to have it on the instrument cluster)

So Porsche South London have finally come back to book car in to resolve this.

They had the car for two days last week for the recall but refused to take the issue seriously - first said there was nor reception, followed by needed to buy a data package followed by the good old uinstall/install the app.

when I went to collect the car, I finally spoke to a “pro” who acknowledged the issue and said they’ve seen a few before and they’ll be in touch.

fast forward 4 days and after chasing them again they’ve gone down the “you’re the first to report this issue in the Taycan.. we’ve seen a few in Macans before” no interest in listening to me saying there’s been multiple reports online!

anyway, booked in for November (earliest I can get a courtesy car) and they need 1-2 days to do a “hard reset” on the data module.

once my car’s back from M&A I’ll trying getting that pesky pink fuse cover off again

I have had issues with Connect for years. The most unreliable app on my phone.

So my car had been with Porsche South London since yesterday to try and the connectivity working.
Yesterday they tried a ‘quick fix’ which did not work. They said they then needed to do a hard reset over night.

Today, post the over night reset, still no dice with connectivity. Though my app now does think the car is in privacy mode and not stuck on a screen where it thinks it’s still charging from 2 months ago!

they traced the fault down to the OTA module which needs replacing. That should hopefully be done tomorrow!

on the plus side, they’ve put me in a brand new fully loaded turbo!.. I’ve told them to take their time with mine ?
