They are making good time through the canal, assuming no traffic, I'm hopeful to the port 11/25, to the dealer (mine in LA) first day or two of December. Once it is in SD, if you are so inclined, you should be able to get a fix from the dealer when the truck will arrive, and you can be there for the unload.

Ship docked early this AM in SD, unloaded and is now (4:30pm) on its way leaving SD. Anyone have an updated "at dealer" date?

I texted my SA but no response yet. Hopefully we get our cars next week. Anyone get their vehicle at newport beach?

In my experience 5-7 days from ship to dealership, if you push them they can PDI it within a day. I always enjoy being there when the truck arrives at the dealer, just to see it all new and wrapped up. Then dealership can tell you when they expect the truck to be delivered. This is all in typical fashion, cars can get stuck at the docs in SD for one reason or another, but that seems to have eased up (waiting for parts, damage etc.).

Any idea how the dealer receives it? Wrapped in what ? What kind of prep is the dealer responsible for ?

Lol, I called ontario dealership but they wanted 10k adm. So I went with newport beach when they promised me it will be here by July. LOL. When did you put in your order?

I didn’t put in order lol. I got offered a good price on my wife’s 4 year old G wagon and I couldn’t pass it up. Didn’t want another Tesla, so decided a CT4 (heavy car, can do 179 ))). Called a few dealers and found one with ETA in November/December. They wanted 20k ADM, but I negotiated 5k. I am fine with it given i placed a deposit 3 weeks ago. Wish the car had rear wheel steering and chrono, but otherwise nicely specked. I am pretty happy.

Oh wow. You got very lucky! No matter what it's going to be a nice car. Fyi, it seems like they just unloaded the vehicles. The ship already set sail to another destination now. Hopefully, we get that call from our SA soon!
