Charging points in Bournemouth

Visiting Bournemouth next week for a couple of days, are the charging points at the Porsche Dealership readily available or are there any good rapid chargers in that area? Should have more than enough charge to get down with as about 140 mile trip. Thanks

There’s a couple of 50 kW rapids about the place. I’m in Poole/Sandbanks this week and have charged the X a few days ago at the Mer 50 Kw unit in Poole old town. Around 52p so not the cheapest. Download the Mer app and reg your details and cc

Many thanks, yes have Zap Map but it doesnt seem to show Ionity charging points. This will be first time of charging away from home and as have Ionity charge card, thought it might be a good start!

You can filter in Ionity in zap-map.

There’s no Ionity anywhere near Bournemouth / Poole. The nearest would be Chippenham or Cullompton about 75 miles away!!

There’s about a dozen or so 50 kW DC fast chargers between Christchurch and Poole. A mixture of networks from BP Pulse to Instavolt, Mer and Osprey.

It’s not a great area for fast chargers but a few around at kfc McDonald’s etc , try to get there pre busy periods, apparently dealer has high power 350 kWh but no one has confirmed if available out of hours?
