When I put the the car in Reverse and the overhead view pops up, it shows the car as a white car even though my car is Gentian Blue. I realize the car on the screen is CGI but I would have thought it would match the actual car like we've had with other car brands.

Does everyone else get a white car or was this an oversight in programming?

Everyone has a white car and no way currently to modify to reflect your actual colour.

It is white, probably because there are far too many possible colours to store and choose for the image projected. Most cars have very few colour choices.
The actual car colour shows in the camera views obviously.

The problem would be if you had a dark grey car. It would just blend into the tarmac. Other dark colours wouldn't be far off either.

So it may just make sense to keep it white.

wow, if this is your only issue with the car you should be thrilled.

I AM thrilled with the car. I don’t even really care that the image shows a white car but I was wondering if it’s normal because others cars we’ve had with showed a similar color car to the actual color.

Wow, and here I am so color-obsessed and I never even noticed this! I'm probably just so hyperfocused on the red lines and trying not to go deaf from the beeps.

You wanna see color, go through a car wash with those cameras on! Went through the car wash for the first time since my husband was driving and what a show!!
