CT 4S Volcano Grey Gets XPEL Stealth PPF

I'll take some time to finally show my car and give back to this great forum that is giving so much info.

For the ones that are waiting, read this forum but stay positive, when we have no problem, we drive the car and don't spend much time writing here, so you see more small issues and see less people that are enjoying this great car.

It's my third Porsche, after a 911 C4 Cabrio and a Macan S.
I put a deposit on an option for a CT4S in May 2019 when we still didn't know what it will be but we knew it would come. That was to be one of the first one and finally didn't work out.
In beginning of March 2020, I could finalise my order and as I was reading too much this forum I added some extras until end April when it was locked for a production end of June.
We were hoping for a delivery in July before the production shut down.
Bad luck, I was on that batch of July were the cars were half produced and every month postponed until end of November beginning of December when they said it was finished and could be delivered end of January. (2 months to transport from Germany to Belgium, I can drive there in 3 hours).
The worse was that there was no communication from Porsche Germany and we still don't know what caused the delay.
Anyway, I finally took delivery on January 13th and the only missing part is the electric steering wheel which will be placed later.

Here is the car at delivery with the winter Turbo Aero Design wheels

Volcano Grey, it looks darker depending of the light and is way darker than my Macan

And the interior is full leather black/chalk beige with 14 way seats

Next thing was to send it to BC Signature to wrap it and add Xpel Stealth and ceramic coating

I love the result, it's different and the plastic bits are well hidden.

Now I can put it next to my other toys.

As I was saying, the little free time is now spent driving or testing the charging, so I spend less time on this forum.

But here is my first test at Ionity.
Arrived at 15% with the charger as destination so the battery was warm even if it was less then 5 degrees Celcius outside.

I couldn't find the option for the Plug&Charge in the menu so I lost 5 minutes searching until I scanned the QR code to start the charge. I should receive soon the Porsche charging card provided in Europe but I don't have it so I used an app called Charging developed by Porsche.

It quickly went up to a max of 256kw

For the ones that are used to Tesla:
18 km/min = 1080 km/h or am I wrong?
11.18 miles/min 672 miles/h

After 10min charge, I was already at 59% and didn't need more and the battery was nicely hot

Beauty! I am so back and forth between clear ppf, satin/stealth ppf, or a vinyl wrap. Waiting until May for delivery (assuming no delays) I think i will change my mind on the colol 100 times lol

So how are these wraps doing over time? Look amazing but wonder cost vs durability? Have a Volcano Gray vehicle myself! . Great minds think alike. LOL

I received a 3 years warranty for the XPEL to keep it always new.
Replaced for free if damaged, stone chip, color change...
After 4/5 years, it's then time to remove the film to be sure it leave no traces... and you have a new car with a different color if you want or in perfect condition to sell.

Those Ionity chargers absolutely rip! I’m looking forward to testing our equivalent 350kW chargers here in Australia when I eventually take delivery. ?

Hi, may i know the wheel arch is painted or satin ppf or satin grey wrap?
