It should be auto dim as well - only economy cars these days have manual dim rearview mirrors with the switch you have to flip
Ah OK, I'll have to pay closer attention. Where is the dimming sensor?

Ah OK, I'll have to pay closer attention. Where is the dimming sensor?
Usually in the backside of the mirror facing out the windshield. Generally if you're driving at night, and you don't feel the car behind you is blinding you via the rearview mirror, it has already dimmed. Our mazda 3 has manual dimming rearview mirror and if not activated the glare from cars behind at night is very noticeable
