Made the mistake of testing the Taycan first.

After that, nothing else seemed adequate.

Could not test a Tesla, because their stores are not allowed in NM, and I refused to order one and then test it on delivery a year later, possibly only to return it.

I had been looking at a quiet more comfortable car to replace a Ferrari which I use less and less.
I loved the styling of the Audi e-Tron GT and had a test drive but was a bit underwhelmed then the Taycan Cross Turismo appeared which had the potential to replace 2 of my cars rather than one.
I had a test drive and was smitten so ordered one.
I had been keeping an eye on electric cars for some years but none had appealed at all for one reason or another.
If I hadn't ordered a Taycan i probably wouldn't get a new car at all.

Had another EV that didn't really do it for me, and came across Taycan when researching alternatives.

Saw a few Porsche promotional videos as well as reviews, then test drove the 4S. Was immediately sold on it, so pulled the trigger a week later and haven't looked back since!

B. Looking for a 911, but none were available, so drove a Taycan and was hooked!
