EA - charging plug stuck to car - compilation of forum tips

Thanks for sharing. I've only had the car a couple weeks and have only used EA charging twice but each time it always gave me a little trouble releasing the plug. I had to attempt multiple times to remove the plug, pressing the button on my car, wiggling the charger, trying again and it usually released after a few attempts. This was all in just a span of a minute so not a big deal but it just doesn't seem to be a smooth process, and certainly gives me some worry that it may get stuck for a longer period at some point in the future.

release via the PCM (charging | ...)...works all the time for me...hint:: relocks fairly quickly- so pay attention
