This is only half the story. EV's are being attacked because the truth is out (depending on the version) EV's pollute more than ICE. They are now starting to count the parts per million of brake dust and tire pollution. The world has gone mad and I love it -- keeps me interested.

I dont know which pollutes more at a molecular level. But I know driving behind a car with oil leaking into the cylinder stinks.

In Poland we can’t hide our EVs… they all have green license plates. But that does entitle us to free nationwide public parking and driving in the bus lane.

If you're planning on getting PPF done, your installer will remove all the badges, so if you'd like to turn them into jewelry or something, that would be another option - let it be there, have the detailing people just give it to you instead of putting it back on.

A bunch of garbage lies. Less brake dust and the only reason tires can wear quicker is with all the extra performance which is so much fun. EVs don’t weigh that much more than ICE - Taycan is the same weight as the Cayenne.

What I find sad is that in today's political climate everything is either black or white, making it almost impossible to discuss flaws or possible improvements.

Yes, EVs are overall obviously significantly better for both the local environment and climate, increased vehicle weight and microparticles from tyre wear are two aspects that should be addressed in the future. These aren't even issues exclusive to EVs, since the trend has for years been to go for increasingly larger and heavier vehicles, but EVs do worsen this even more.

EVs aren't perfect, but they're significantly better than the alternative.
