Send pictures of your stalled satnav to your Porsche Center and aks them to create a ticket. Scrolling through this thread I suspect only 3 tickets are raised yet (from forum members).

I have not seen this issue here in the US and really no comments on this thread from the US or Canada- is this an Europe issue only?
Seems to be, turning off charging planner fixes it, so it got me thinking it must be a backend issue. Maybe getting charging point data that has timeout or something like that. Servers in other areas are responding within thresholds. Pure a guess

Just had Porsche Centre reload nav data from usb to pcm and carry out a sat nav database software update. They say this has corrected fault so will try out tomorrow and see.

I had the same “fix”. It worked for 4 days. After that nav had same issues again. Hope it works for you..

So nobody managed to get any official response on this?

I am taking my car to the dealer on Monday to have this checked out - software updates, which they say will fix it.
Likely it won't be the case.

Online I see a "new" campaign, WMH0, which applies to all 2020 and 2021 taycans, requiring all ECUs to be updated. This is a 2021 campaign, which was updated to apply again in 2025, since September.
Maybe this could help? It does include Instrument Cluster ECU update also.
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11023001-0001.pdf

It has multiple updates to do, in an order, depending on current version you have on. Seems quite comprehensive, and takes many hours. So I suspect dealers/services avoid this campaign like the plague.

There is also WPN9, to update all 2020-2024 cars to 3885, however it does not include any ECU updates.

I suspect these 2 campaigns are to be done together, likely for all 2020-2024 cars; instead of just 2020-2021 ones. And even then, my dealer hasn't actually done either of these - so hopefully this new dealer will do them both.

I had a response from Porsche yesterday:

"Thank you very much for your continued patience and understanding while we carefully look into the concerns you have raised regarding your Porsche Connect Services. I truly appreciate the time and effort you have invested in this matter, and I fully acknowledge that the resolution process has taken longer than both you and I would have hoped. Please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this delay may have caused.

To ensure your concerns are addressed thoroughly, I have personally contacted Porsche AG and escalated the issue to the appropriate team. I have requested that they provide us with an update as swiftly as possible, and I will keep you informed of any progress as soon as I receive further information.

In the meantime, I would like to remind you that there is helpful guidance available for Porsche Connect and Smart Mobility inquiries at https://ask.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/. This resource may assist you with any immediate questions or support you might need. However, if you find that your needs are not fully met through this platform, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to our Customer Relations Hub, where our dedicated team is ready to assist you further.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding. We value your trust in Porsche and are committed to resolving this matter to your satisfaction. "

Assume they know its broken, but no update on a fix yet. I've had the charge planner turned off and that is a temporary fix.

This is just the automatic reply. Likely your ticket hasn't been seen by a human being yet.
I also have the exact same copy past reply from Porsche support.

I have had exactly the same reply.
All working correctly at moment following Porsche Centre updates but by all accounts this might only be a temporary fix and problem will be reoccurring shortly. Will update if it remains fixed.

Can you check in your car history book thingy, or whatever, where they must note what they did to your car, what exactly TIs/Campaigns they applied? Should be a code like: ARA4, WPN9, WMH0, etc.

Curious to see what they did.

I really think the issue is somehow related to this WMH0 campaign - wired that it is only for 2020-2021 cars though:
During a data analysis with regard to hardware and software versions in the field and their
combinations, we have discovered that there has been a deviation from the defined target
status on the affected vehicles.
As a result, the consistency of the network of hardware and software versions defined and approved by Porsche cannot be guaranteed.

The report shown earlier just says:
“reload nav data from usb to pcm and carry out a sat nav database software update.”
