EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues

Hello everyone, today I called Porsche Padova (Italy) to ask about the availability of the update in question. I have an appointment next week. They told me that while I wait for the new, single software, for all models, it would be best to install this update for now.
So, is it confirmed that everybody gets this update or even better one over OTA eventually in foreseeable future?

I've not even had a call back!

I'm assuming that my closest OPC is prioritising their high spend customers first.

My service center refuses to call back. Today I got an email that "There is an OTA update available that will go to your car automatically". This was after Connect support had asked them to perform the update.

On the positive side the navigation did not reboot when I tested it today. But it did loose the speed limit information after a few minutes drive with a "no navigation data available".

I can accept that a product has flaws. But the terrible customer service Porsche provides is just mind blowing.

Based on what my Porsche Centre did this is a Campaign (WTG1) rather than a user OTA. Their system uses the VIN to indicate when it’s available for each car, if a customer complains about the navigation system.

Many of you are talking about OTA update, but my service told me it’s an update to the OTA module and the PCM, and it’s in service, takes a full day. The update is not being done Over the Air


So I suspect that a lot of service guys read the OTA word and ignore the words around it…

There is a new OTA update. It's updating multiple apps such as weather, news etc. Probably released together with the Nav update, but there is no relation whatsoever

Today I got a call from dealer in the Czech Republic. They do not see WTG1 update at all and know nothing about it. I guess we are a third world country for a Porsche... (we actually are in the terms of sales for them 😁)

WTG1 done @Jasper4S, 4 hours rather than the 3 as a failed update at the end had to be repeated. No nav restarts on the 30 mins drive home (had 3 on the way there). See the photos for software versions and the only visual difference I’ve seen so far, charger power on the map and a filter for what power chargers you see.
Sorry to bombard with questions...does it remember the chargers you filter on (am assuming it does network and power?)?

I need to send my centre a bit of a snotagram after my last service episode...might put me to the bottom of the list.

Disappointed by very far from surprised that this is 3xxx branch and not 4xxx. Poor from Porsche, and a big time missed opportunity.

Seems to remember preferences for the charger networks and minimum power that you set using the filter on the PCM nav.

Looks like if you plan a route using the mobile app the option for preferred charging networks could be different and there’s no charging power filter on the app. PCM and mobile app settings not fully in step from what I can see.
