does anyone have a clear information on the function of the two speed transmission, specially:

• Does it 'kick down' to 1st gear in range/normal modes when you give it full throttle?
• At what speed does it change up to 2nd gear when under full throttle -feels around 80mph to me?

1) No. Have seen comments on that it does on this forum. It doesn't. Refer to GTK app.
1) Below 40 it downshifts at full power requirement.
2) 80Km/h up, 50Km/h down.

Same here. Feels like downshift into first if I mash the throttle when at low speeds.

Funny, when I change from normal to range after getting of the interstate, feel a jerk almost like a downshift

I was sure until about 2 minutes ago.

Read comments that it downshifts in normal before. Knew I read documentation saying normal and range is exclusive in 2nd, so I tried it. Did not downshift. Perhaps I didn't push it all the way down, perhaps I didn't have low enough speed. (Graph indicates it only downshifts < 40km/h - I might have tried it above that).

Will try again. Hate being wrong.

Thanks for the info, so it does downshift in range/normal and upshifts at 75kph. There is a clear audible change, with sport sound on, at around 80mph when on full throttle, must be in the sport sound program.
