That’s awesome! You are not the last one sitting on the dock of the bay. I escalated this to the sales manager at Marin who advised today that the car is waiting on an ECU update from Germany, which he says is “basically just a software patch”. If this is an over the air update I have no idea why this would be holding up delivery to the dealership. Has anybody else heard of this or have any thoughts? They previously told us the vehicle was NOT on the no sale list so I was very surprised by this and frustrated that it’s the first we are hearing of it.
My sales rep told me on Sunday that he suspected the software update caused the delay on my car too. This was the same day that another Taycan on the Glovis arrived at the dealer but mine did not. Does Porsche have some shop at the ports? I never expected that there were any technical people at the port doing this kind of work.

My persistence in emailing and calling the people at the port and the director of sales and GM Porsche Marin finally paid off! Our SA emailed this afternoon and said the car was released for delivery to the dealership and should arrive in the next day or two. I’m hoping we can pick it up on Saturday!

Finally she is home!

A few little quirks (had to disable interior alarm to stop it going off every 30 mins), a few disconcerting error messages on the way home, but it drives AMAZING. The rear wheel steering is a godsend, I'm going to need that on every car now!

Got mine last night. Seamless paperwork, everything working so far. SA left interior monitoring on as he said he hasn't had any 22s have this problem.
Tires and wheels look amazing, RAS is super capable, red belts look awesome. Super fast on the way to work....... lots to learn!

Looks great! My SA also said he hadn't seen the alarm issue on any '22s but as we we were sitting there one went off in the showroom, hah! And then I got mine home and it started an hour later.

One to two hours of every day just turned from “blah” into “hell yes.” It’s fabulous and you’re going to love it. The driving is so perfect. Quiet and super easy when you want it to be, insane when you’re up for it.

Did you already turn off the interior alarm and it’s still doing it?!
jumping in here, I had my first alarm last night too. I’d unchecked the interior sensor in settings, but somehow it got reenabled? Anyway I’ve disabled it again. Will keep an eye on it.

No- the SA had recommended leaving it enabled as he hadn't had any with the problem so he said. So we left it turned on. Started going off yesterday. Its now turned off.

OK... for what it's worth, when I unchecked interior sensors the box stayed unchecked and a false alarm hasn't gone off since. My SA also sent this advice: "Unlock the car, then lock it twice within two seconds and that will disable the interior sensors."

I think that's a pretty weird UI element, because many folk probably lock it twice within two seconds just to be sure it's locked, and are unknowingly disabling a feature. But for now that feature is associated with a major bug, so it's for the best!
