Again, ditto for me - have been checking both websites since the dealer did the ARB6 update on August 1, and both still show the recall.

I’ve not bothered calling dealer yet, hoping it would fix itself with more time….

I just got the ARB6 OTA and then, a few days later, got the letter from Porsche. So I was confused and asked them if I STILL needed to take the car in for service. This is what I got back:

Thank you for reaching out to Porsche Cars North America regarding your Taycan (VIN: Wxxxxxxxxx) and the recent communication about recall campaigns ARB6 and ARB7.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While your vehicle may have received an Over-the-Air (OTA) update for ARB6, we recommend contacting your local authorized Porsche Center to confirm whether any additional service actions are required. They will have access to your vehicle’s recall status and can advise you on next steps based on the most up-to-date information.

Follow up Edit: so I call the dealer and they said they see no open recalls and they don't want to service. Right hand meet left hand!
Thanks for posting the Porsche response. I know, I got the same dealer response and as far as I know I didn't get the OTA update yet.....if Taycans do actually start igniting, the confusion Porsche/Audi has created will be fertile ground for trial lawyers.

What was interesting for me is, installed the OTA update and near immediately the porsche site was updated... (this was yesterday afternoon)

I called my dealer a few minutes ago. And get this:

LITERALLY for the first time since I have owned the car since Jan 22, there are ZERO open campaigns or recalls on the car. There are over 20 performed on it, that's crazy.

He sent me a screenshot of his screen

Let's see how long this honeymoon lasts.

Porsche software engineers are at it again. Got the ARB6 software OTA about 10 days ago. Recall notice was removed from both the Porsche website and the NHTSA site within 48 hours. No "incomplete" anywhere. Not sure how a successful software installation could be incomplete.
same w/me..no active recalls now (and dealer does NOT want to service..says nothing to do...)

Who knows if it's related, but had ARB7 cleared just a couple weeks ago and this afternoon the dreaded red circle appeared. Glad it told me there was an issue I guess? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So you couldn't even drive it? Letter just said if a fault occurs to contact your dealer for repairs and the the car will automatically only charge to 80%

Correct. I could go to neutral and park as my only options. But given this error has a long history on this forum I do not yet know if there is a relation or not to the 6/7 campaign. I was under the same impression regarding the alert as you. There was a 6/7-related action during my July service that noted something about software, and the campaign had been removed from the nhtsa site after that so I'm relatively sure I have the new software. I now only show ASA2 (passenger seat, for which there also is no fix at this time for my car).
Incidentally, when the SA called me it was a "the car shows nothing wrong, why is it here? What do you want us to do?" I've not worked with this SA before so I don't want to read into the tone too much but it gave me the impression of wanting me to just come get it. The error wasn't popping up for them that next morning. I sent over pictures and only then did it change to an "oh, ok. We can look into that."

Fun fact, the error was because "a cell was too warm" according to the SA. The car had been sitting in a parking garage for 8hrs at that point (not charging) at a 67% SoC. The SA asked permission to remove the 80% limit in my General Profile I'd set previously and charge to 100%. I asked if it was my profile or if the car had set the limit from detecting the error and he confirmed it was my profile. So I guess the ARB6/7 software did not trip here 🤷‍♂️

I just got the ARB7 OTA update today, months after others started getting it . Seems Porsche must be using a dial up modem server to roll this out to all Taycan owners.... Of course, like many software updates, something else stops working. In my case Android Auto refused to connect until I locked the car and re entered 30 minutes later.
