This looks like it's really cutting into the metal. IMHO this is going to be substantially more expensive than you think, assuming it's done right. I'd also be worried that they'll try to just fill and paint over, which might just show months later (that's happened to me, though on the roof, and now I am very very careful to ask EXACTLY how they are fixing it). And it's in a very visible place, so either masterful blending or painting the whole hood.Hey folks. So just have a quick question. My wife backed into my car and the bike rack on the Jeep caused a significant scrape down to the metal and minor dent(s). Insurance thinks my deductible will cover the damage (1k). Anyone ever have damage like this and what was the cost to fix? Waiting on an appointment with the body shop.![]()
