How to turn on the glacier blue lights?

Please help.
I just got my car on 11/25. Are the glacier blue lights just for the look? Unless you stand really close, otherwise you can't see the blue light at all. I thought they were blue daytime running lights?

Yes, it’s not like in the late 90s, the blue bits do not light up.
From a specific angle the do appear to have a blue tinge, but that’s it. At least for now.

That is crazy. I thought the LEDs were tinted blue. So glad I didn't waste money on this option.

The blue accents work well if you have a blue colour like Neptune.

Although what you’re paying extra for isn’t the blue tinted plastic, it’s the Matrix technology upgrade vs PDLS+ I believe!

No it’s just a housing that is colored with either Black or Blue but it has zero extra functionality. It’s a silly option on the Taycan since the housing is pretty hidden. In the 911 lights you can really tell the difference with black for example (blue is not available in the 911) per my turbo s versus my buddies GTS.

uh, its not at all this...its the lens of the 4 jewel lights surrounding the beam. The lens has a blue hue to it, that really you can only see when the light itself is off. It has nothing to do with the housing.

Is the difference your showing in the housings there more of a generation thing? Every 992 I’ve seen has black housings. Standard lights have black housing in the configurator.
