Just Found These in Glovebox ?

Hey guys first time I’ve been in my Taycan GTS glove box and found 2 of these in image …any idea what they are ?? Tracker ??

Correct. Assuming you have the PVTS activated, you shouldn't keep them in the car or with your car keys.

Need to pay £249 online to Porsche for 1 year subscription, them get them paired at the dealership. They took the money but never paired mine properly … so make sure you double check if you do activate the service.

If you drive off without one of them onboard (assuming you have the service activated) then a Vodafone team will call
you to see if you are a thief. They will check with some ridiculously easy to guess questions but that’s a subject for another day.

The tracker is buried in the car somewhere. The fob should be kept seperately from car keys - i.e. someone steals your car keys, the alarm can still activate. Personally i keep with my house key on different key ring to car key.

It doesn’t seem right. I don’t carry house key. They stole the key or I forget the fob at home or at the office. This will trigger the alarm.
I leave the car key in the house, usually in the same faraday pot with the Taycan key. In theory I should hide the fob tracking device somewhere else and remember to take the key and the fob in the morning. Same in the office.

Mmmm... i would imagined that the dealer would have told u how to use it or you can ask after. I wonder if mine would have something like that for the CT.

No they didn’t. I have assumed it worked like the Jaguar alarm. If the key is not in the car, if the car has been lifted away, if the gps location disappears it triggers the alarm and someone phones you.
quite reasonable approach to the problem.

Mine are still in their wrappers in the glovebox too and Porsche have just emailed me to say my initial 2 year subscription is about to expire and please forward £269 to keep the system going. Based on the info above probably better take them out of the glove then ?
