Well that's my love a fair over with the Taycan had it 18 months it was OK however had lot better cars. Trade in £50,000 so took a hit of £60,000 a well back to Audi.
Sorry to hear it.
Apart from having to wait 18 months for mine to be delivered because of covid shortages I have had it 2 years now and it has been fantastic though it got the heater and brake pipe recall.

Probably the best car for my use on sale today with the throttle response of a NA engine in optimum gear but all the time. I can't think of another car I would prefer.

I am not surprised at huge depreciation of a new car after 18 months, I took a bath on a BMW M3 I couldn't get comfortable in by selling it early.
I normally keep a car 6 years at least then depreciation doesn't hit so hard.

I am coming up for three years. Heater failed early on and the brakes, but otherwise has been excellent. Add to that Porsche opened a new garage local to me, so the support is excellent. My frustration, as we all share, is in the "value". I went for a fully-specced Turbo with Burmester etc on the basis of a circa 5% APR as was with Clydesdale and a deposit in the range of £15k. This costs something like £1,150 a month. What happens at the end of next year when I am £30k in negative equity and APR is what 8.9%? I will hand the car back and spend a new £15k plus what will likely be close to £1,500 a month with new interest and price inflation? I just cannot see that decision passing the most basic sense check. Surely the answer is to buy or lease a top spec BYD or Tesla Performance for £50k ish and buy a second hand 911/Vanquish/?? as a weekend driver. That way I am spending similar ish (if you squint) per month and will have something special in the garage. What am I missing?
