Max speed governed?

I have this sticker indicating my GTS is governed.
Is this a Canadian legal requirement and do fellow Taycan owners have a similar governed maximum speed?
The car is configured with all seasons, would ordering with performance tires mitigate the amount of govern speed.? In the past some performance cars were explicit that Z rated tires were required for non governed maximum speed or governed at a higher speed.

I’m not 100 percent sure, but that sticker likely is based on your all season tires: 130 is high for all seasons. It’s not a legal requirement, but rather a safety requirement. All seasons are likely too soft to sustain 130 + for any sustained period of time (of course, the tire companies build in cushions, but still).

I had the same sticker and was told it was just a cautionary warning about the all season tires and that there is no limiter.

Yes. The vehicle is capable of exceeding the max rating of the tires. This is the way they warn you.

Just a label to warn you, tires will explode if you exceed that speed. Unlike my pickup, there's no governor.
