The big battery is likely the only must have….keeping in mind that most buyers are not enthusiasts….the glass roof for most regions is also a big plus.I think… panoramic roof, big battery, sport chrono, privicy glass. Not for me but selling to the next owner in 3 years. What are the must-haves?
Good point about drug dealers! I hate them on 911s but here they look better.Mine has RW steering/air suspension, BOSE, pano roof and P+ battery. Don't regret any of those and they're what I would look for.
The only thing I might spec if buying again is sport chrono, but I don't miss it as I don't have it! And I dislike privacy glass as I'm not a drug dealer ?
I had sport chrono on my 911S and in 12 years of ownership never used it. Now that's a car where it's relevant. So I am really wondering why anyone would pay to put one on a Taycan other than as a gimmick. Better uses of a budget to fund things that really impact performance, like RAS.I think… panoramic roof, big battery, sport chrono, privicy glass. Not for me but selling to the next owner in 3 years. What are the must-haves?
Problem is that most buyers still have range anxiety so the bigger battery is a safety blanket. Without it, a used Taycan would be a little harder to sell.Others have already covered the whole "why are you prioritizing some stranger's desires over your own?" aspect of all of this, so I'll take a different tack.
There is literally no universal "must have" option. Yes, even the larger battery.
It adds extra weight and expense. If you are one of those people for whom that extra 10% of range means not having to stop in order to get to a frequently-traveled destination, then it absolutely makes sense to spring for the larger battery. I eventually decided that I was not one of those people, and I'm deriving much more utility from the other features that I chose instead.
Sorry, I thought the initial part of my comment made it clear that I'm firmly in the camp of people who have absolutely zero concern for anybody else's opinion about my car.Without it, a used Taycan would be a little harder to sell.
I see. I but I am staying aligned to the OP’s actual question ??Sorry, I thought the initial part of my comment made it clear that I'm firmly in the camp of people who have absolutely zero concern for anybody else's opinion about my car.
