Possibly TWO new tires if tread of other tire on same axle is significantly different!

BTW, if you plug the hole, it is suggested that an inside patch ALSO be made (and then the tire re-balanced)

I have picked up 3 damn nails in my new tires. I just bought a High Tech Tire Plug Kit on Amazon. It has a Mushroom head plug that you install and it does a Great job.

I’ve had two nails already over the past two years and each time I had the tire replaced under the tire package warranty that I bought. Service advisor told me that Porsche would only replace tires not patch them since these cars are intended to be driven at very high speed on curvy tracks/roads, and a repaired tire might blow out.

and that’s why we are driving them with an average speed of 40-50 km/h?
Imagine a VW driver living in Germany, driving on autobahn everyday 180-200km/h for long periods of time and having to replace a tire because of a single nail in the tire that didn’t damage the tire’s frame itself
