Interesting. Mine was in exactly a month ago for first service and brake lines campaign, but the software for WRS0 wasn't available.
At my service in early January they said it was due to become available during Q1 but not to be surprised if it was towards the end, ie end of March.
If this is it excellent but I am not an early adopter of new software, been doing it too long ;)

I was booked in yesterday for WRSO update and told wasn’t available yet ,rebooked for end April as they think they might have then! Getting nothing from Porsche. Hope it does something as I get real miles of 150-60 out of full charge. Says 200-215 .

Your first electric car?

This is pretty normal in winter. Expect your range to drop 20-30%. Normal.

WSR0 update will do nothing to change that

Here is how the procedure will work according to service manager at my dealer:
  1. Battery Monitoring Software is installed OTA (currently working for the Macan). Taycan is starting the OTA updates now.
  2. After install, if PAG see's an anomaly there will be a message displayed on the PCM to visit the workshop
  3. Workshop will run diagnostics - not sure what their criteria is to determine if step 4 takes place
  4. If battery needs to be removed and repaired, a container is delivered to the dealer and the battery is shipped to a repair location
  5. After 3-4 weeks, the battery arrives back to dealer by container
  6. Dealer installs the new/repaired battery pack
Note: It may take a week to several weeks for the PCM to stop displaying the message due to less than optimum communication between the service team and the IT team.

Mine goes in for its first MOT mid-March, so fingers crossed they'll do WRS0 at the same time.

Yes 1st EV ,had over 4 years now. Great car like everything apart from battery losing power. Took it to alps last 3 years ,cannot do now with the mileage you get from a charge if you drive like it should be. its a shame as i can’t see how this is the future unless they come up with a way to refurbish batteries at a sensible price. I think I’ll probably keep till it goes pop. I’m lucky I have ice car I can drive as well .i wouldn’t want to EV only household. I had to recharge to go to Gatwick and back the other day 70 miles away . they are going to end up being a throwaway item. Even the j2 versions have got big enough ranges imo. Cheap as chips to run though.

You got less than 140 miles from a full charge?

Have you checked the battery SoH?

I might of made it as was showing 90 miles range when I was there but m25 is majority of trip so I stopped at cobham Ionity. I had a soh last feb after a disastrous European trip. They said 83% ,Porsche warranty doesn’t kick in till 73% from memory it’s definitely in the 70s . I’ve done 45k which my local Porsche says is one of the higher mileage cars they’ve had.
iget that the batteries going to lose charge ,think being new to EV in 2020 I sort of believed the ranges the manufacturers said would be half way sensible. As it turns out they are nowhere near if you drive the car at all quickly Or have Aircon etc on. Love the car though ,I just don’t use for long journeys now .its my main daily. Definitely sticking with Porsche from now on . If the government remove the company incentive this market will die. Porsche must see this the way they’re rowing back on EV. I don’t know anybody that has an EV out of a company lease or purchase.

It's 80% to 3yrs or around 40k miles I think...then 70%.

I guess if you're down to 73% then 140 probably isn't far off what I'm getting (winter, heavy foot, 170 fully charged maybe, but 92% SoH).

Food for thought.

You need to get it 4% lower :)

(I bought mine private ;)).

These are some crazy battery degradations guys. Driven my previous Taycan 4 CT, i4M 50, 2 Tesla model 3 (LR and Performance), iX3 and Macan EV now and never had even remotely same degradation. Maybe 3-4% max and actually almost always would get better range over time. Most km I did was my Tesla LR and it was like 97% after 1.5 years and 25000km
