no electric sound

a few days ago when I started my taycan I had the error msg "don't remember the exact msg" but it says that the elect sound not functioning
it was the best 15 min to drive the car 100% silent

is there a way to make this elect sound MUTE forever?

Isn't it off by default in Normal, Range and Sport mode - it is on EU models?

In the US the electric sound is mandatory to protect unsuspecting pedestrians and can't, to the best of my knowledge,be defeated.

My experience is that it's ineffective, by the way. The car's like a rolling jump scare in parking lots. It would be funny if not for the fact that I'm afraid that some day somebody will jump out in front of me and I won't be able to stop in time. In parking lots it's sometimes just not possible to stay far enough away from clueless pedestrians to guarantee they can't get themselves killed before I can react.

The pedestrian warning sound needs to be louder... kids walking on the street cannot hear me until I'm like right behind them.. don't want to honk them either... don't need teenagers throwing things at me... in ICE cars, I'd just rev my engine in neutral a bit... haha

If you have electric sport sound turn that on at low speeds as it is more pronounced and audible.

Plus, lots of them are using headphones, listening music.... walking, running, cycling, or even rolling...

I don't have the sports e-sound... was looking at getting it install but very expensive and not worth it..
