Well, with my car missing the Platinum Ray, among with others whose cars are sitting still awaiting 12V batteries, it looks like the next boat to the west coast would arrive in Benecia on 10/28, making mine likely a mid Nov delivery if it makes it (vs. December which is worst case scenario)

My arrival to Emden is now 9/16/22, but it looks like we're hitching a ride on the same ship. I'm on the east coast so my arrival to the Baltimore Port is 11/18/22. My car was originally going to arrive 10/07/22...I'm glad it's not pushed further into December as of now though.

one of the other threads said the labor strike in Emden has been settled.

I have the same dates (9/16- production complete -- 11/4- on vessel)

i am hoping that with the strike settled, they can shorten the 'on-vessel' date by many weeks

Congratulations! It is interesting though, as your TYD timeline suggests cars in production, or at least yours, may be getting 12v batteries before cars already built awaiting them. For example, my car left the factory 7/19 but TYD shows on ship 11/4 to East Coast. Then again, all dates are estimates so maybe we’ll see the cars sooner rather than later…

Wow that is quick from production completion to dealer. I got notified of "Scheduled for Production" this morning so hoping mine gets to the UK during October. My SA is out today so hopefully I can get an update tomorrow. Original devilevry to PRG Reading was 24th November with order having been placed on 9th June 22.

Sounds like a great dealer. Congrats on the quick turnaround (even with delays). May I ask if there was an ADM involved?

I suspect most likely the dates are just standard timelines when TYD first populates. Usually specific timing gets updated once the cars are scheduled for production, as they have a better sense of supply chain or transportation issues then. Before then, it's just generic as your car doesn't have a production date scheduled yet

My original timeline after freeze point showed a late August delivery. After production started was scheduled, my start production expected date got pushed by a week, and then that expected date was missed and production actually started 10 days after that (late July). Then after production started, my production complete date got pushed out because of the port strikes until after the factory shutdown in the first 3 weeks of Aug. My car has finished production now (with images), but a week before it finished production, my delivery date got pushed from 9/16 to 12/16, due to the On Vessel date getting moved to 11/4. This is likely due to the 12V Battery supply issue

All this to say - wouldn't trust an initially populated TYD for the timelines and delivery dates to hold. I think it's possible that your car may arrive before the end of the year, but I would keep posted on the Oct/Nov delivery threads to see if any of the cars with start production dates before yours start getting on boats. From what I can tell, right now the cars that had start production dates in in June made it on the last boats, but early July did not (@poppap had 7/2 start and missed the latest 8/26 ship). So I'm hoping that cars in my start production range of July will be on the next boat in late Sep to the west coast (vs TYD saying 11/4 right now)

Based on this, I think that cars are realistically getting on boats about 2 months after they start production due to the 12V Battery shortage. So with your timeline, I'd expect a base case scenario of on boat in late Nov with delivery to dealer in mid Dec (instead of late Oct delivery)

@Kaytan timeline here in the Oct thread actually is pretty helpful in laying out how the delays have progressed, and shows that it takes exactly 2 months from start production to on vessel. His start production was late June and made it onto the 8/26 boat (vs. poppap who was early July didn't)

I have no clue which month-thread to choose for tracking delivery of my order.

Production is claimed at the moment to be 30th Sept

...... but that is likely to slip a week or 2 - and after that then add
+8 weeks for a battery wait,
+2 weeks for a boat -
+1 week shipping
+2 weeks for customs clearance into UK (thanks Brexit)
+2 weeks delivery to dealer
+ 2 weeks PDI including software fixes -
take away the number you first thought of........

.........and the answer is Twelfty!

;)

FWIW my TYD on vessel date just changed from 11/4 to 10/14. All other dates now show as 11/4 up through delivery (was 11/25 delivery). Obviously those dates don’t make sense but it’s good to see my timeline moving in a favorable direction. Have not yet seen the ro-ro schedule beyond week 34.

My on ship date changed to 10/14 as well. If anyone has ship schedule please post to the forum! Thanks.
