My car is finally on the way to Emden so thought it was time for an April delivery thread. Ice Grey Taycan 4S, Porsche Code: PNJ1AS20

10/25/2021 - Deposit placed and allocation received
12/22/2021 - Change Freeze point reached. There were several delays and earlier freeze points but this was the final one.
01/25/2022 - Production started
02/11/2022 - Production completed. One reason it likely took a bit longer was due to the application of the front PPF.
02/14/2022 - In transit to Emden
02/15/2022 - Arrived in Emden (Updated)
03/29/2022 - On Vessel (Updated)
04/26/2022 - Entering Channel (Updated)
04/26/2022 - Port of San Diego (Updated)
05/07/2022 - Delivery Tucson AZ

I'm assuming that the last three dates are bogus. TYD has had some flaky dates for the estimates but it seems to eventually catch up. I'm hoping it actually makes it onto a vessel on 02/25/2022 and, with a bit of luck, maybe it will arrive a bit early. ?

I had a build date of 18FE22, Jacksonville Florida port date of 25MR22 for a delivery date of 08AP22 to dealer.

But today I logged in and got the dreaded umbrella racer picture…. I assume that means delay. How long are these delays normally?

Not necessarily, they are likely just updating the database. That doesn't necessarily mean there is a delay. Try refreshing the page a couple of times.

Not sure if this is your issue but it happens to me every time. If I start the TYD from My Porsche app on my iPhone it loads fine. If I go back to Safari later and reload I get the Service unavailable message. If you close the page and relaunch from the app it works again.

On a laptop I have never had the issue happen.

So my TYD “wet umbrella racer” was real. I did confirm changes to my dates. The build actually has started today (3 days early) but the finish of the build moved from 25FE to 04MR so it will likely miss the ship. New estimate delivery is 22AP (was 08AP). A least I can stay on this April thread!

My umbrella experience resulted in a week delay although we’ve caught back up….now if we can get on the next scheduled ship???

Chalk Taycan RWD.
RCC Prestige leaving Emden port at any moment, headed to Davisville, R.I. and then hopefully to Houston for drop off and ground transport to Porsche Experience Center in L.A. by early April. I am waiting for word on whether I made this ship. It has been at the port for a week. Anyone else on this path?
