Yes that is the delivery date. We have ordered the car through a company called tusker and through my wife’s work to get the tax benefit.
my wife is also amazing as she has just told me that she ordered the Bose 5 weeks ago, she was trying to keep it a surprise but I wouldn’t stop going on about it. So the wait till April was a lie.
Haha, that’s wife’s for you! The gift that keeps on giving!! Nice one!

Does that mean if ordering in U.K. now it will be an April delivery eg 7 month wait?
I'm not sure. The OP said his dealer said it would move delivery date to April (which I agree sounds like a long time for any order not just changing one spec). My thoughts are that either A. His dealership has a very limited amount of Taycan allocations and needs to strategically plan out their inventory, thus his changes might warrant them to put him on a later allocation slot. or B. They have communicated with Porsche in Germany and Porsche is telling them that because of where his vehicle is at in production it will push his delivery out to April.

Most Taycan orders at this point in most European countries should be taking about 2-4 months from order to delivery. Asia/Middle East probably more like 3-5 months. The Americas probably more like 4-6.5 months. Again, it depends on the size of the dealership and how many allocations they have though, as well as any delays with production that Porsche might be having at the time.
