Just goes to show internet forums are not a place to get factsAnd the top things I learned on Day 1 is that the base sound system is rubbish
When I ordered mine neither Bose nor Burmester were available due to component shortage and due to being a music lover, and having a home audio system more expensive than the Taycan, I thought it may be a deal breaker based on internet "knowledge".
My dealer arranged for me to compare the Bose and standard systems and I found the standard system fine, with low colouration and an even frequency response. The Bose sounded slightly harsher, in fact, but had far more adjustments including a DSP surround.
So if you want effects or like to adjust a system to sound like a boom box (and a LOT of people do, based on car audio I've heard) Bose offers more potential.
If you listen to music and voice and prefer an accurate sound the standard system isn't bad at all so I went ahead and 2 ½ years later it is not a regret.
The only downside is all the internet false (IMO) info will perhaps make it harder to sell.

. The only things I'd change if I'd specified it myself would have been Cherry red instead of Gentian and adding Burmester.
