Phone mounts installed: Nine Volt vs 3D printed vs ProClip + ESR HaloLock with Cryoboost

I recently installed two phone mounts in my Taycan and wanted to show the results, in case it helps anyone!

Using them with an iPhone 14 Pro.

NINE VOLT CHARGER
Before taking delivery of my Taycan, I purchased the Nine Volt charger. Installation was very straightforward and I precisely followed the video instructions linked by Nine Volt. The video shows how to remove the center cupholders and route the power cable. These instructions were handy as well for the future MagSafe mount install.

The Nine Volt came with a high power dual USB-C cigarette adapter. The mount is sleek, stylish and compliments the Taycan interior. I'm really happy I got it.
The cable routing was perfect - no visibility. However, after using it for a while, I realized I wanted something more tilted and visible, typically when I'm parked (phone is off when driving - I'm a fanatic about that).

3D PRINTED MOUNT
Enter the 3D printed mount. I got the STL file off another thread and 3D printed the mount. It looked like it would work (as it has for many others on this site), but I was turned off by the cheaper plastic feel and the rough edges. I felt that the mount was going to damage the console leather. So I aborted.

PROCLIP + ESR HALOLOCK WITH CRYOBOOST (MAGSAFE COMPATIBLE)
I pivoted to the ProClip which I have been quite happy with. Here are the parts for my install:

Very reasonable from a price perspective, certainly cheaper than the Nine Volt. Installation of the ProClip was easy. Then I installed the AMPS mount with 4 screws (which you should do after installing the ProClip on the car). Then I installed the ESR charger on the ball mount. I picked the CryoBoost as I have it in all my other cars. ESR's non-CryoBoost version gets really hot. CryoBoost - not at all. The fan is not audible when driving and with music on.

Cable routing:
So I took out the rear cupholder again and routed the SunGuy USB-C cable into the center console storage area next to the Nine Volt cable. Then snapped the cupholder back in. Next, I routed the cable between the trim pieces and pushed the cable in with a trim tool. The cable is next to invisible! I coiled up the cable and tucked it within the ProClip mount. Photos of the final install attached.

I am really happy with the ProClip + ESR mount. I will keep the Nine Volt as my wife uses that when she drives the Taycan. The 2 chargers are never used simultaneously.
